Luca Technologies Inc., a Golden-based clean- energy company that uses biotechnology to create and produce natural gas, announced Wednesday that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of common stock.
UBS Securities LLC, Citi and Piper Jaffray & Co. will act as joint book-running managers for the offering, with Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. acting as co-manager. The number of shares and the price range for the offering have not been determined.
