An administrative law judge has fined Salies “Kwann” Perry $1.25 million for violating Colorado insurance law, including committing unfair trade practices and fraud.
Perry, whose whereabouts are unknown but last known address was in Thornton, also was ordered to pay $4,678.57 in restitution to Bankers Life and Casualty Co. The ruling was issued last week by Administrative Law Judge Robert Spencer.
The case dates to early 2010, when Bankers Life notified the Colorado Division of Insurance that Perry had submitted approximately 50 fraudulent applications for life insurance in 2009 and 2010.
