DENVER—The National Weather Service is continuing flood warnings for the Elk River and has issued advisories for other rivers in Colorado.
The weather service says melting snow and recent rainfalls have caused high water levels along the Elk River, which will remain at or above stage through Friday.
Flood advisories have been issued for the Big Thompson River above Lake Estes, the Colorado River near Kremmling, the Cache La Poudre (kash-luh-POO’-der) River and the Eagle River.
