Colorado added another wide receiver prospect to its 2012 recruiting class this week when Gerald Thomas of The Colony (Texas) High School extended an oral commitment to the Buffaloes, according to .
Thomas, 5-feet-10 and 170 pounds, caught 71 passes for 1,185 yards and 12 touchdowns last fall as a junior. He ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at the TCU camp this summer.
Thomas said he picked Colorado over Arizona, after also considering Iowa and Arizona State.
“I analyzed what each school had to give and I liked Colorado better,” he told .
