A Japanese man who identified himself as “Sasaki” followed Mika Miyazato and Ai Miyazato on Sunday at The Broadmoor while carrying a large flag from their home country with a note that read: “The grateful to Japan for earthquake disaster relief.” Though Sasaki couldn’t speak English, Ai Miyazato’s manager, Takumi Zaoya, said he has seen Sasaki at other golf tournaments in the United States and Japan. Zaoya described him as “just a big fan” and added that he often sends Japanese golfers cookies and cakes as gifts.
