NEW YORK — Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s court date is being postponed to August, and his lawyers say they hope his next appearance will be the last of the sexual-assault case. Prosecutors and defense lawyers said Monday that the July 18 date was postponed until Aug. 1.
The case has been cast into doubt after prosecutors said the hotel maid who accused the former International Monetary Fund leader of trying to rape her hadn’t been truthful.
