Getting your player ready...

There is no perfect putter. But four putter lines have unique features. The Backstryke series from Odyssey is rapidly gaining acceptance from pros and amateurs. The key feature is the shaft location in the back of the head. This allows your hands to stay well forward, which helps the face to impact the ball before your wrists can break down. The white putters from Taylor Made have a titanium face that provides a soft hit. The Corza Ghost mallet and the Day- tona blade are two to try. Medicus has two Over Spin models that have a beveled leading edge that allows you to move your hands well forward without hooding the face. If you leave a lot of putts short, the Over Spin might be the putter that you are looking for. Finally, Nike has the new Method series which features seven models of blades and mallets.
