Michael Lee of Greeley Country Club won Friday’s 36-hole final of the CGA Match Play Championship at Bear Creek Golf Club in Denver, defeating Jonathan Marsico of Castle Pines Golf Course 1-up to capture the title.

The Colorado Mines golfer rallied from being four down after 16 holes and two down after 32. Lee, 19, won the 33rd hole with a par, then birdied two of the last three holes for his first CGA title.

Lee led after only three holes in the match — the 6th, 23rd and 36th.
