
A martial-arts instructor in Aurora has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with several teenage students, police said.
Raul Alberto Gutierrez-Hernandez, 31, of Aurora is suspected of sex assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and sex assault on a child, both felonies, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
Gutierrez-Hernandez is suspected of having sexual contact with several teenage girls who were students at a martial-arts studio he operated in Aurora, police said.
Gutierrez-Hernandez owns Tae Kwon Do Tegura, 601 N. Salida Way, where he is an instructor. The school was previously at 638 Peoria St., Aurora.
He was arrested Wednesday, posted a $50,000 bond and was released.
Gutierrez-Hernandez’s next scheduled court appearance is Aug. 10 in Arapahoe County.
