Fire restrictions in some parts of Colorado have been lifted thanks to recent rain. The U.S. Forest Service has dropped fire restrictions in the Rio Grande and Pike national forests and also in Lake County on the San Isabel National Forest.

But officials warn the fire danger is still high in much of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the lower elevations of the San Luis Valley.
