After more than two inches of rainfall fell in half an hour, the National Weather Service has warned Nederland and Eldora residents to be wary of flooding as thunderstorms continue the downpour in Boulder County.
Creeks, streams, and roadside culverts are susceptible, and heavy rains could also trigger rock slides.
The warning is in effect until 6:45 p.m.
Those thunderstorms could also produce penny-sized hail in elevations between 6,000 and 9,000 feet in Boulder and Larimer counties and at elevations higher than 9,000 feet in Grand, Clear Creek, Summit and Park counties.
North central Clear Creek and western Gilpin counties also remain under flash flood warnings until 6 p.m.
