Two days after 9News reported about pay phone users at Denver International Airport shocked by credit card rates, the leaders of RMES Communications, Inc. responded.
In an e-mail to 9News Wednesday, RMES President Herman Malone said his company issued Joan Hill a full refund after she was charged $70.84 for two five-minute calls from a DIA pay phone.
According to an e-mail from a customer service manager, Hill “expressed appreciation for the call and quick action” by RMES.
“While we did not agree with your analysis, it did allow us to take a look at how we could better address some of the frustrations which sometimes exists during phone usages,” Malone said in the e-mail. “We always strive to make our services more customer friendly at competitive market prices.”
