SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo.—Snowmass Village is asking residents if they want to pay a 20-cent fee on disposable bags.
If residents support the plan, the town would join Basalt, Carbondale and Aspen charging fees for disposable paper and plastic bags.
Mayor Bill Bonieau tells the Aspen Daily News he is concerned that a fee on single-use bags may appear to be nickel and diming people.
