GREELEY, Colo.—Colorado banking officials have closed Bank of Choice in Greeley, which will continue to operate as Bank Midwest.
The Colorado Division of Banking said Bank of Choice depositors can access their money Friday and over the weekend by writing checks or using ATM or debit cards. The bank’s 17 branches will reopen during normal business hours starting Saturday as branches of Bank Midwest of Kansas City, Mo.
Bank Midwest, which has agreed to buy about $853 million of the failed bank’s assets and assume all the deposits. Bank of Choice has $1.07 billion in total assets and $924.9 million in total deposits.
