The night clerk at a Viva Burrito shop in Lakewood was shot in a robbery early Friday.
About 12:30 a.m. two men entered the store in the 6700 block of West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood police said in a news release.
The men demanded money, and one man pulled out a handgun. He fired and hit the clerk, who ran out.
The suspects then took the entire cash register.
The clerk was treated for non- life-threatening injuries, police said.
Detectives are asking for help in identifying both suspects. Anyone with information should call the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111.
