If the opening night of the was any indication, this is going to be one hot weekend — sweltering heat notwithstanding. The South Broadway stretch was alive with music at a multitude of venues, as well as the quirky characters parading up and down the urban street. Yet, the artists in green wristbands may have stolen the sidewalk show, passing the time on the street, partaking in the opening day excitement until heading on the stage to enthrall the crowds. For this Hot Shots edition of the UMS, one can only imagine what “wild-childs” may be spotted this weekend on the South Broadway stretch.
