Two fires were successful fought Saturday in Colorado’s forests.

The Overlook fire, south of Glen Haven in the Roosevelt National Forest, was estimated to be 5 acres. It was reported to be completely contained by Saturday night.

In Summit County, 20 miles north of Silverthorne, near Green Mountain Reservoir, a grass fire was reported at 4:25 p.m., said Steve Lipsher with the Lake Dillon Fire Protection District. Crews responded, and the 2-acre fire was quickly contained. It was completely out by 8:30 p.m.
