DECKERS — A body was recovered Monday from the South Platte River in Jefferson County, about a mile from where a man who had been tubing was reported missing in the Deckers area.
Family members reported the man missing to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, said Jacki Kelley, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
The missing tuber is a 31-year-old man from Englewood. His name was not released. The body was found at about 8 a.m. Monday.
