DENVER—The Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has suspended its president after he was accused of kidnapping and assault stemming from a report of domestic violence.

Jeffrey Campos was released from jail Friday after posting a $50,000 bond. Details of Campos’ arrest and the allegations surrounding it were sealed by a Denver judge.

Campos’ attorney Gary Lozow told the Denver Post the allegations are overblown.
