The Pac-12 Network will launch in August 2012 with six regional networks that will show 850 conference athletic events every year, commissioner Larry Scott announced today.
Speaking at the Pac-12 media day in New York, Scott said earlier today an agreement was finalized with Comcast, Cox Communications, Time-Warner and Bright House Networks. They will show every football and men’s basketball game as well as hundreds of Olympic sports.
The events will be distributed nationally and also shown on six regional networks: Pac-12 Washington, Pac-12 Oregon, Pac-12 Northern California, Pac-12 Southern California, Pac-12 Arizona and Pac-12 Mountain Region which would include Colorado and Utah.
