“One thing about shooting these during the day is that it can get very, very hot. Though no one seems to mind that much when the music is playing and our backyard features several feet of prime well-shaded real estate, everyone was definitely feeling the heat.
It’s a good thing the lineup this month featured three bands that represent everything good about summer. Force Publique sound like the kind of trouble you can get into on summer nights when you don’t need to wear much clothing. School Knights evokes what getting out of school for three months feels like. Fingers of the Sun are the perfect soundtrack for having a picnic, an afternoon bike ride, or an acid trip.”
