Surveillance video captured the terrifying moments inside a 7-Eleven when a car smashed through the front glass and landed inside the store in Aurora.
It’s the third time in 24 hours a car has crashed into a building in the metro area.
This latest crash happened at the 7-Eleven store on East Quincy Avenue just off of Parker Road after 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Aurora Police say no one was injured when a 17-year-old driver stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake as she was pulling into the 7-Eleven. She had three friends in the car.
Police say there was no problem with the brakes and the teenager will be cited for careless driving.
