The Governor’s Residence carriage house was the setting for an afternoon tea where the Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation at Denver presented Charlotte Tucker Scholarships to 28 college- bound teens with diabetes. The $2,000 grants are named for a past president of the guild who believed a chronic illness should not prevent anyone from attending college.
