The Colorado Springs Fire Department pulled two people from a vehicle following a serious accident at Peterson Road and Pony Tracks Drive about 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Sunny Smaldino, a spokeswoman for the department, said she could not release the conditions of the two people who were trapped because of privacy concerns.
Traffic in the area has been moving smoothly for close to an hour, Smaldino said.
