MONTROSE, Colo.—Montrose police say two bank robbery suspects had pockets bulging with cash when they were arrested.
Brandon Smith and Troy Ashley were arrested in connection with the June 24 robbery at Montrose’s East Main branch of Alpine Bank and Friday’s hold-up at Surface Creek Bank in Cedaredge, which netted more than $6,000 each.
The Montrose Daily Press reports ( ) bond for each was set at $500,000 Monday.
