Castle Rock police have arrested a man suspected of assaulting a woman last month on South Broadway in Denver.
Clifton Ray Williams, 37, was arrested early Thursday morning in Castle Rock for investigation of kidnapping and aggravated assault, according to the Denver Police Department.
On July 24, a woman was walking in the 2200 block of South Broadway at 1:30 a.m. when a man approached her from behind.
The woman reported feeling a sharp sting, which she thought was a stun gun.
The attacker then allegedly grabbed the woman around the neck and attempted to drag her into an alley. The woman was able break free and call for help.
