ALTADENA, Calif. — Los Angeles County authorities say a man died after he and a woman fell from a cliff while hiking in the Angeles National Forest.
The death of John Jutiyasantayanon, 23, on Saturday is the second in the Eaton Canyon Park area in the past week.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Gary Ogurek said the female companion tried to help but got stuck. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
