Speer Boulevard has reopened tonight after being closed at Interstate 25 following an accident involving three cars and an RTD bus.
The accident occurred around 6:55 p.m. near Speer and Wewatta Street. The road reopened before 9 p.m.
Six people were injured, none of them critically, Denver police spokesman Lt. Matt Murray said.
One of those injured was the bus driver, but no passengers were injured.
Also, the Colorado Department of Transportation said that Federal Boulevard was closed both directions for several hours tonight — northbound at Mississippi and southbound at Kentucky — because of a separate accident. Federal reopened about 10 p.m. On Twitter, Denver Police said this accident involved a motorcycle and a truck.
