DENVER—Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is giving some of his top employees some big raises.
Hancock is paying his 39 top appointees nearly $1 million more his first year than former Mayor John Hickenlooper.
According to the Denver Post (), chief of staff Janice Sinden said the higher salaries balance the increased financial responsibilities that employees are facing.
