One man was taken to the hospital this morning after a fire in a Littleton apartment.
At 6:20 a.m., firefighters were called to 6295 S. Santa Fe Drive, said Jim Hofstra, a spokesman with Littleton Fire Rescue.
The fire started in one of the units at the complex and later spread into the attic.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames and contain the fire to the unit.
One man was later taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
