FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.—Coconino County searchers have located the body of a Colorado man missing since last month.
The sheriff’s office says the body of 43-year-old Michael Snarski of Thornton, Colo., was found about 20 miles south of Williams, Ariz., Saturday.
The sheriff’s office tells the Arizona Daily Sun () there were no obvious signs of foul play. Search and rescue volunteers used a dog trained to search for dead bodies to find Snarski’s remains.
According to the investigation, the search began July 24 after Snarski’s vehicle was found abandoned, with a note indicating that he had gone on a vision quest.
The cause of death is under investigation by the Coconino County Medical Examiner.
