COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A Colorado Springs maintenance man faces a fine of up to $1,000.after he pleaded guilty to killing three cats earlier this year.
David Leisge pleaded guilty to animal cruelty after he was accused of using ether to control the stray cat population.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region began investigating after people reported cats were disappearing on the property.
They found the bodies of three cats wrapped in plastic bags at the mobile home facility. Investigators say Leisge used ether to put the cats down.
