Police in Wichita Falls, Texas, have located a 14-year-old girl and a Fort Carson soldier who were wanted in an Amber Alert, according to Cory Beyer, a detective with the police department in League City, Texas.
Andrea Love Fox and Spec. James Dean Martin had been missing since Tuesday. Martin was taken into custody by Wichita Falls police Friday morning. Martin and Fox were driving east, away from League City, according to Beyer.
Martin is believed to be a friend of Fox’s brother. He is assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at the Army post near Colorado Springs. Fort Carson officials had no information on whether Martin was on leave or AWOL.
