AURORA — For many people, pets are like family members. That’s how Ben and Allison Lopez felt about their dog, which was stolen when their home was burglarized Friday, 9News reports.
“The fact that they took the dog, that’s just so personal. How do you do that to someone?” Allison Lopez told the television station.
Their new home in northeast Aurora was burglarized in the middle of the day Friday. “The 42-inch TV was missing, the Xbox, a laptop, my great-grandma’s engagement ring,” Ben Lopez said. But the couple agreed those things are replaceable, while their 3-year- old Boston terrier, Beasley, is not. The Lopezes are offering a reward, no questions asked.
