Todd Helton received two deer stands for his birthday from his family, among other gifts. And not even that could top the present he gave himself. The 38-year-old belted his 14th home run. It marks the fifth time that Helton has homered on his birthday.

Dueling bobbleheads.

A chunk of Saturday’s huge crowd lined up three hours before the game to receive a Troy Tulowitzki bobblehead, commemorating his Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards. There was similar interest at Double-A Tulsa, where the Drillers gave out Super Tulo bobbleheads that featured the shortstop wearing a cape and sporting a mullet.
