A Brighton man died when the car he was working on fell on him last night.
Fausto Servin, 30, was working on a 1996 Ford Thunderbird at relative’s home in the 1700 block of Egbert Street last night.
About 6:38 p.m., the jack stand gave way, trapping Servin.
Police removed Servin and then took him to Platte Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 7:18 p.m., Brighton police said in a news release.
Police spokesman John Bradley said officers do not know why the jack gave way. They did not see any signs of foul play, he said.
