A man suspected of several robberies in Colorado Springs is in custody this morning.
At 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, officers were called to 2709 Arlington Drive on a report of a robbery, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department’s blotter.
During the investigation, police learned there were three prior robberies in the area, all with the same suspect description.
Later that evening, residents reported seeing the same man inside the complex.
At 6 p.m. on Monday, residents spotted the man again and called police.
Donald Lopez, 25, was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
