WASHINGTON — Federal regulators asked AT&T Inc. on Wednesday to provide more details about how its proposed acquisition of T-Mobile will create a business case to expand its next-generation LTE wireless network across most of the U.S.
The data request by Federal Communications Commission staff comes two weeks after AT&T attorneys accidentally disclosed that the company had considered and rejected previous plans to expand its LTE wireless network to 97 percent of the U.S.
