DENVER—The Colorado Court of Appeals has revived a complaint filed against former Democratic state Rep. Jack Pommer over an alleged failure to file campaign finance reports.
In an opinion issued Thursday, the appellate court ruled that an administrative law judge improperly dismissed the complaint filed by the Colorado Government Accountability Project. The judge had ruled that the four-term representative could not run for office again and that the project failed to prove Pommer had raised or spent any money.
The judge also ruled the state election reporting law was improperly cited and dismissed the complaint.
The appellate court ruled that the law requires the reports to be filed.
Pommer did not immediately return a message left at his Boulder home.
