Zahkai Brown of Arvada lost in the first round of match play and was eliminated Thursday from the U.S. Amateur Championship at Erin Hills in Wisconsin.
Brown, who plays for Colorado State, lost 1-up to Jordan Russell of College Station, Texas. Former Ram Ryan Peterson also lost, 3 and 2 to Ben Geyer of Arbuckle, Calif.
Hults suspended after positive drug test.
NASCAR K&N Pro Series West driver Ronnie Hults of Centennial has been suspended indefinitely after testing positive for marijuana, but Hults said he got the drug legally as a prescription for chronic pain.
Hults told KUSA-Channel 9 he was not high when he got behind the wheel.
