From Sept. 3-4, American Indian craftsmen will meet in Farmington, N.M., for the Totah Festival, a fine arts and crafts show and marketplace with displays of the work of more than 100 artisans from the Four Corners.

Preservation road trip.

Colorado Preservation’s annual heritage tourism event, “On the Road” will tour the South Park National Heritage Area, Sept. 9-11. Beginning that Friday night with a kick-off reception at the M-Lazy-C Ranch, a family-owned working cattle ranch outside Lake George, guests will hear tales of history during a country dinner with live music. On Saturday, a bus will take guests through the towns of Como, Alma and Fairplay, where they can take part in local festivities. Finally, Sunday will bring hayrides and a special event to celebrate the return and reset of a stolen headstone to the Como Cemetery. Cost is $150 for members, $250 for non-members and $40 for students. or 303-893-4260
