There will be nine names on the Nov. 1 ballot for Denver Public Schools’ board election.
The deadline to submit 50 signatures in order to secure a spot on the ballot was 5 p.m. Friday.
A 10th hopeful, Loralie Cole, picked up the necessary packet at the last minute on Thursday but was unable to submit the required signatures in time.
A lottery drawing held Tuesday at 6 p.m. will determine in what order the names will appear.

For at large: John Daniel, Frank E. Deserino, Allegra “Happy” Haynes, Roger Kilgore and Jacqueline Carole Shumway.
For District 1 in southeast Denver: Anne Bye Rowe and Emily Lipp Sirota.
For District 5 in northwest Denver: Jennifer Draper Carson and Arturo Jimenez.
