MONTERREY, Mexico — Hundreds of people are protesting outside the state government offices in a northern Mexico city three days after an arson attack on a casino killed 52 people.
Protesters are demanding that the Nuevo Leon state governor and the mayor of the industrial city of Monterrey quit, saying they are tired of the violence that afflicts the metropolis of 4 million as the Gulf drug cartel and the rival Zetas battle over turf.
