The Denver B-cycle bike sharing program rolled into town on a test run during the 2008 Democratic National Convention and opened in April 2010. The goal: Put more people on two wheels to reduce traffic and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Users choose from 510 bikes in 51 stations throughout central Denver. The system is designed for connections with mass transit and has locations near many popular destinations including Coors Field and the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
Using the system is simple: All you need is a credit card, and there are several options for daily or long-term memberships.
