A Norfolk, Va., man who raced through a red light in northwest Denver, killing his passenger and another driver, will be sentenced Oct. 21 on two counts of vehicular homicide involving drunken driving.

Carl Cumby, 36, also was found guilty by a Denver jury of vehicular homicide involving reckless driving.

Cumby crashed into a car driven by 28-year-old Elena Callas in October. Callas and Cumby’s passenger, Amanda Jones, 28, died at the scene.
