High-mountain waters remain the best for fishing, especially for fly-anglers. Spin fishers should try using a casting bubble with ants, caddis, pheasant tails or hare’s ears. Red Feather Lakes and Cameron Pass- area waters are doing well. South Park has slowed a bit but is still producing. Warm- water fishing is slow during the heat of the day. Try top-water lures late and early for bass. The most active fish have been bluegill, yellow perch and catfish. Thursday marks the start of kokanee snagging at Green Mountain, Gross, Williams Fork and Granby. Check the regulations for specifics.
