Several Colorado animal shelters came to the rescue Thursday morning when they took in more than 50 puppies in danger of being euthanized.
Mike & Kathy Nobles of Going Home Animal Rescue & Transport teamed up with five rescue groups in Colorado to provide shelters for some 55 puppies. The Animal Rescue of the Rockies.org, Colorado K-9 Rescue, Every Creature Counts, Hope for Animals and Ft. Morgan Humane Society all participated in the rescue of the dogs.
Rescue shelter employees say the puppies were all taken from “high kill” shelters from all across Oklahoma.
