Denver police said Sunday that they believe 33-year-old Luiz Meza shot an unnamed victim to death in the parking lot of a southwest Denver nightclub early Saturday morning.
Authorities are not releasing a photograph of Meza pending further investigation.
Police responded to reports of gunshots near MGM’s Restaurant and Lounge about 1:45 a.m. Saturday and found a man in the club parking lot with gunshot wounds.
Meza allegedly fled in his truck and led officers on a brief chase before being taken into custody.
