
Today. This is the last day to see the “Honoring Our History” traveling World War I exhibit at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. As part of a 75-city tour, this display recognizes the deeds of the men and women who served during that war and after. It includes installments that highlight the sights and sounds of trench warfare along with the uniforms, primitive tools, weapons and equipment used by soldiers nearly 100 years ago. Today. Spend some quality time with the family “furbaby” during the “Festival of the Bastardino & Doggie Plunge” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pirates Cove. This benefit for Freedom Service Dogs features food and fun for dogs and their humans, and includes vendors and a silent auction. Admission is free; “doggie plunges” in the pools are $10 per dog.
