MORRISON, Colo.—Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a rock fall at Red Rocks Ampitheatre that sent four people to the hospital.
Denver cultural affairs spokeswoman Kristin Rust says officials will inspect the iconic 300-foot rocks at the concert venue outside Denver on Monday.
According to KMGH-TV (), a witness reported seeing two people climbing the rocks when the rockslide occurred.
The incident happened at about 1 a.m. Sunday during a concert by the band Sound Tribe Sector 9.
Red Rocks is a naturally formed amphitheatre that includes two, three hundred foot sandstone monoliths.
